The Little Engine That Could
A few years ago, Newsweek magazine did an all-time greatest books list. The children's book The Little Engine That Could came in 7th. Newsweek, correctly, said this about the book:


"Yeah, it's a kiddie book, but so what? Nobody - not Nietzsche, not Norman Vincent Peale - ever did a better job of stoking the fires of willpower. Decades after childhood, it's still impossible to forget the mantra of the little blue train: 'I think I can. I think I can.'"
