Iraq is Succeeding
This from the eminent military historian, Victor Davis Hanson:
Iraq and the General War on Terror [Victor Davis Hanson]
How odd (or to be expected) that suddenly intelligence agencies, analysts, journalists, and terrorists themselves are attesting that al-Qaeda is in near ruins, that ideologically radical Islam is losing its appeal, and that terrorist incidents against Americans at home and abroad outside the war zones are at an all-time low--and yet few associate the radical change in fortune in Iraq as a contributory cause to our success.

On Obama
Obama is a creature of the far left -- I actually think that he has strong Marxist leanings. Mainstream Democrats are convincing themselves that he stands for "non-divisiveness" -- a "new" kind of politics. In reality, he's the same-old, same-old. The "game" hasn't changed. The way in which he played the Pastor Wright affair was PURE politics.

Obama's the Perfect Candidate for the Sally Field Party

In Denial Dems Board the S.S. Obama
No matter that Obama can't get the white vote (no matter what he spends); no
matter that Reverend Wright is a loose cannon ready to appear at his own whim;
no matter that Wright has already told us that Obama was in the pews for 20
years listening and soaking up his America-hating rants (by saying that Barack
denies it by calling him a "politician").

Three Deaths Shaped Today's Left
The decades-long doom-and-gloom narrative of the left started with the assassination
of JFK in 1963, was reinforced by MLK's assassination in 1968, and was tattooed
into their collective consciousnesses with the assassination of RFK only a few
months later.

Obama Playing a "Hope-a-Dope" Strategy
In 1974, an aging Muhammad Ali was facing the much stronger George Foreman in a bout that came to be known as "The Rumble in the Jungle." Entering the ring Foreman, while not particularly popular was, by all accounts, the big odds on favorite not only to defeat Ali but to knock him out early and humiliatingly.

While Bush Fights for America, The Democrats Fight Bush
The Democrats' personal hatred towards President Bush - in light of the objective successes of his presidency - make clear the sad fact that they would rather see America fail if that failure made the president look bad.
