This section contains the short
movies I make. I hope you like them. Currently, I’m
working on my first feature length documentary. It’s
entitled A Year In The Life and consists of interviews
I’ve done with my hand-held camera with people who
have a story about themselves and The Beatles. It’s
not a “tribute” or “anthology”
piece. Just people from all walks of life with a neat,
specific Beatles story.
Thus far, I’ve interviewed many of their recording
engineers, including Norman Smith and Ken Scott, who worked
very closely with them, making their records. But, where
the movie is really fun is the people you wouldn’t
expect to have a story like former First Daughter, Luci
Baines Johnson, actor Henry Winkler, Indianapolis Colts
Football team owner, Jim Irsay or world renowned anthropologist
Dr. Donald Johansen (he discovered the oldest human skeleton
in 1974, known as “Lucy”).

my
documentary A Year In The Life. |
I also got to interview so many people I LOVED growing
up, like Donovan, Art Garfunkel (Simon & Garfunkel),
Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Brian Wilson (The Beach
Boys), Ray Manzarek (The Doors), Peter Noone (Herman’s
Hermits), Gerry Beckley (America), Denny Doherty (The
Mamas and the Papas), Felix Cavaliere (The Rascals), Denny
Laine (Wings), Peter Tork (The Monkees), Billy J. Kramer,
Jackie DeShannon (“Put a Little Love in Your Heart”)
and so many more.
A Year In The Life should be completed by the
Fall of 2008 with a release, hopefully, by Spring, 2009.
