Perfection
There have been 11 pitchers to pitch a perfect game
(where 27 batters come up and 27 are retired). Before
1922, Addie Joss, Cy Young, and Charlie Robertson
had achieved this feat. Thirty-four years passed
before Don Larsen pitched a perfect game in the
1956 World Series. Eight pitchers have joined Larsen
in this very unique club. They're all on this ball.
