| This impossible to find
single page calendar was available as a supplement
to the Philadelphia Record Newspaper. It was
only printed and included in the Sunday, February
13, 1921 edition - making it quite rare. From
1912-1921, Sun-Maid Raisins was called the
California Associated Raisin Company. Then,
in 1922, they changed their name to Sun-Maid
Raisins Growers of California. This 1921 calendar
was printed before they officially changed
their name to Sun-Maid, but were using the
Sun-Maid image as their promotion for the
company. The first Sun-Maid
Raisins girl was Lorraine Collett. The
model on this calendar, Violet Oliver, was
the 2nd spokes model for the company. |
