Dodger Drama - Owen and Mates Make a Catch
Mickey Owen, Brooklyn catcher, had plenty of rooters
"aiding" him in this catch of a high foul
in front of the Dodger dugout during a series with
the St. Louis Cardinals. Manager Leo Durocher, extreme
left, is doing his best to charm Owen into holding
onto the ball, while Luke Hamlin, at the extreme
right, holds a practice ball as he goes through
the play with his teammate. Note the expressions
