The Old Guy
On September 12, 1976, at age 53, Minnie Minoso
(he retired in 1964) made a 'comeback' with his
old team the Chicago White Sox. That night, he became
the oldest man ever to get a hit in major league
baseball history when he singled off Sid Monge.
This is the jersey he was wearing when he got that
hit.
