A Head's-Up Play

Jose Canseco was a powerful slugger during his career (1986-2002, 462 home runs), but never a great outfielder. On May 26, 1993, a fly ball hit by the Indians' Carlos Martinez bounced off Canseco's head and into the stands for a home run.

This is the cap Jose was wearing that day. After the game, angry at himself for his embarrassing misplay, Jose gave away the cap after signing it and adding the date and city in which this strange event took place.
