Babe
Ruth's First Victim
On May 6, 1915, a rookie named Babe Ruth hit the first
of what was to be a record 714 home runs, electrifying
the baseball world. Jack Warhop was the man who surrendered
the Babe's first home run. This ball, signed by Warhop,
is a rare single signed baseball. Incidentally, only
5000 people witnessed Ruth's 1st home run that day.
Do you think any one of them had an inkling of what
they were seeing?
