President Clinton Yearns for Baseball

From August 1994 through April 1995 the major league baseball players went on strike. That was the only time since 1904 that the World Series had ever been cancelled. President Bill Clinton signed this ball and wrote "My wish: America's children can see baseball again!—Bill Clinton, 2-95 & Al Gore"
